CLIENT WORK: Museum Advertisements
︎︎︎ What I Learned: Professional Client Interactions | Mockups | In-Person Presentation Skills
Billboards

The opportunity arose for the Sloan Museum of Discovery to have fresh, new advertisements for the upcoming opening of their remodeled building. For this, I created a variety of advertisements to reach a wide audience, ranging from billboards, to newspaper, and online assets.
The call to action curated for this series was to “Visit YOUR local museum”, putting an emphasis on staying local. The target audience is focused on parents with young kids.

For each assets, two final versions were created to give both variety and different approaches for the advertisements. One direction focused on more simplicity, with the images and contrast stars. used as support. The second direction was influened by a more playful approach, as seen by the circles and use of their colors.

It is equally as important to have consistant branding, so cross-referencing from their current branding was vital for this project. Using assets from their previous projects, along with fresh ideas, allowed for assets that follow the brand guidelines while allowing for playfulness.

When presenting these ideas for the clients, it is important to go over what is being used, and why. Helping the client understand why everything is intentional farther solidifies the assets.

As a leaving note, letting them see all of the assets just presented allows for them to take everything in one last time, hopefully leaving a lasting note in their minds.
